Beth is an experienced person-centred practitioner, in the late stages of her psychotherapeutic training at The Metanoia Institute. Beth offers short-term and long-term therapy for adults, in person and online.
Beth is a down to earth person, with a wholehearted approach to her work and genuine care for her clients. The foundation of Beth's work is to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship in which you feel understood and accepted, just as you are.
Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, Beth will support you to address your difficulties, so you can make the changes you need, or come to terms with what cannot be changed. Beth believes you are the expert on your life and experience, and will follow your lead to address the things that feel most important to you. Beth is kind, perceptive, and creative, and will take an active role in helping you find a way forward.
Beth has experience working with a range of issues, including depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, sex and relationship difficulties, LGBTQIA+ identity, body image, 'stuckness', childhood abuse/neglect, and domestic violence. Beth also has a special interest in supporting people who identify as neurodivergent.
Beth is a trainee member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and is committed to working within their ethical frameworks. Beth is passionate about anti-oppressive practice and her practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative.
