Dan Lee

Dan (he/him) is an integrative therapist/counsellor, specialising in working with LGBTQ+ clients and/or substance misuse and addiction - from exploring a client's relationships with drugs/alcohol/sex/food etc., to working with clients in recovery.

He provide a welcoming, trauma-informed and confidential safe space for people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, meeting you with warmth, empathy, sensitivity, and respect, regardless of your age, heritage, sexuality, gender identity or neurodiversity.

Dan draws on using person-centred & psychodynamic theories to look at what's going on in your life at the moment, as well as looking to your past to see how it may be impacting on you today and perhaps keeping you "stuck", in order to relieve your symptoms and create lasting change for you. Using the therapeutic relationship between himself and clients, there can also be space for clients to to explore the relationship you have with themselves and the relationships they have with others in their life, whether that be friends, colleagues, family or partner(s).

In addition to working with LGBTQ+ clients and/or substance misuse/addiction, Dan supports with a range of concerns, including:

Dan identifies as Queer/Gay and has a personal history of addiction and long-term recovery. He is a registered member of the BACP.


Availability: Thursdays and Weekends in person or online.

Fee: £75 - concessions available.
