Sarah Barnsbury

Integrative Counsellor

Sarah Barnsbury

Perhaps you’ve been through a challenging time recently, and you’re feeling anxious or low. Maybe you have a feeling of stuck-ness or that things aren’t quite right. Or perhaps you’ve been through something traumatic in your past that seems to affect you in your relationships with others, or with yourself.

Within the safe and confidential boundaries of our therapy sessions, Sarah offers the opportunity to discuss and explore your feelings and to help raise awareness of what it means to be 'you'; both within relationships and on your own.

As an integrative counsellor, Sarah incorporates a variety of therapeutic frameworks to support you. Her core modality is Psychosynthesis, which helps you to discover your true self and find meaning in life.

Psychosynthesis explores the existential and embraces the transformative idea that we are so much more than our lived experience. Sarah can help you make connections between the past and the present and reveal more choices for how to live your life in the future. Her approach is warm, non-judgemental and down-to-earth. In addition to talking therapy, she tailors sessions to you by offering a range of tools and techniques, such as guided meditation, visualisations, and journal prompts to support your therapeutic process, always working at your pace.

Some issues Sarah can help with:
* Relationships
* Anxiety
